SulaFest Sunset Getaways

Initiated around the period of the music festival boom in the country, Sula fest has established itself as a truly world-class boutique and gourmet multi-genre music offering to the elite music lover, bringing a whole new phenomenon to the otherwise quiet little wine district of Nashik. This year, the festival was held on February 3 and 4, 2018, at Sula Vineyards in Nasik.

The 11th edition of Sulafest saw over 10,000 music lovers grace the two-day extravaganza of quality music, food, wine, and happy faces. What used to be earlier termed a wine-festival is today the only festival of music held within a lush picturesque vineyard!

Conceptualised and executed by Rajeev Samant, CEO and Founder of Sula Vineyards, the festival showcases, between its two stages an electrifying mix of over 100 varied artists from Amit Trivedi, Parov Stellar & Gypsy Hill at the Amphitheatre main stage to Bauchlang, Phonique & Stefano Richetta on their techno stage, curated by Goa’s SOMA Project. Guests also had the opportunity to indulge their taste buds and keep their spirits high at what one could easily term the nicest food court at a music festival. Not to be missed were the tasting sessions at the Sula wine tasting room that turned out to be an absolute hit for the country’s growing wine consumer. The SulaFest Bazaar offered a selection of unique, funky items that added to the festival experience, especially for all the shopaholics!

The celebration was sprinkled with a fair mix of glamour having celebrities like Shibani Kashyap, Sonali Sehgal, Prahlad Kakkar, Manasi Scott, Suchitra Pillai, Deana Uppal, and Kashmira Shah amongst others, with the chosen few treated to an after party at the poolside within the vineyard. And for those not wanting to travel that extra mile to the venue, luxury accommodation was available at India’s first winery heritage resort “The Source” located within the precincts of the vineyard.

Rajeev Samant, CEO & Founder of Sula Vineyards was once again delighted with the festival and  overjoyed with the success of the festival saying: “What an incredible weekend! Fantastic to see the vineyards packed with fest-goers yet again.  It is always such a delight to open our doors for SulaFest and seeing so many people having such a great time makes it all worthwhile!  I am immensely grateful to all our partners and the artists for the part they play in SulaFest but of course it is the audience that makes it such a great experience. I am sure they have all gone away with more SulaFest memories just as I have”
