GS Entertainment Organises a Star-Studded Night Celebrating 5 years of ASFC

All Stars Football Club (ASFC) has been synonymous with both football and charity for the past 5 years.  A plethora of stars from all walks of life have joined Bunty Walia’s (Chairman- GS Entertainment) charitable vision to make this mammoth charity initiative a reality. A- lister actors like Abhishek Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor, sports stars like Leander Paes, fashion icons like Marc Robinson, ace photographers like Rohan Shrestha, all have left a mark on this field of charity. 

May 27 marked the 5th anniversary of this philanthropic mission, and to mark the occasion the stars and the team behind ASFC all came together for an epic celebratory bash at the Playboy Club, Mumbai. Big screen sensations and ASFC players Abhishek Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra graced the event with their presence. Sachiin Joshi, Rohan Shrestha, Harpreet Baweja, Raj Kundra, Armaan Jain, Kartik Aaryan, Shoojit Sircar, Arman Ralhan, Nishant Mehra, Antoni Pecora and Caeser Gonsalves were some of the other celebrities that were present at the party.

“I had taken the idea to Abhishek, who’s like a brother to me, and he told me that it was a great idea but pointed out that it might be difficult to find 18 actors or filmmakers who would want to spend their Sunday afternoons sweating it out,” said Bunty Walia, Chairman, GS Entertainment.

While the B-Town celebs have been regularly hitting the fields and practice matches with other teams are quite common, none of them has formally partied together as a team. The 5-year anniversary was definitely a worthy day for a long-awaited bash. "This was a first celebratory party of sorts," added Walia.

Elaborating on the sportsmen spirit and mutual respect that the team embodies, Walia elaborated, “It’s wonderful to see the bromance. It’s like a band of brothers who enjoy a good time together and are willing to go out of their way for each other. While everyone’s on time and on their best behavior for the matches, everyone’s casual and chilled, and on Indian stretchable time when in each other’s company.”

Even though football might not be any of the boys’ professional pursuit, they all take the team very seriously. The ASFC squad has proven its mettle time and again on the field. In the past, they have clashed with Virat Kohli’s team, All Hearts Football Club. Virat’s team primarily consists of cricketers from Indian national squad but the ASFC team managed to give these professional athletes a very tough contest. ASFC also faced the CISF team recently and came out victorious.
