Encompass Delivers Monsanto FY16 Awards and Annual Field Conference at JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar

Encompass Events was responsible for conceptualising and executing the Monsanto FY16 Awards and Annual Field Conference on September 13 and 14 at JW Marriott Sahar in Mumbai. Monsanto invited the employees from their sales team across India to Mumbai for the destination conference. The conference was hosted by Gaurav Katyal Mahaveer Rathore
Encompass has been working with Monsanto since the past few years for the Annual Field Conference.
The brief was to conceptualize, plan, and execute the Monsanto FY16 Awards and Annual Field Conference where the focus was to infuse freshness amongst the employees as there could be an organizational change (In terms of structure, size, people in the coming year); to make sure the employees remain motivated despite the uncertainty going around; and to spread the message to the employees to focus on what they can achieve rather than on what is not in their control.
Encompass was required to conceptualize activities for the conference that would engage the delegates whilst giving them an opportunity to network; design and fabricate the set for the Conference, the Awards Night and the Gala Dinner; and to design and fabricate all the collaterals and branding for the conference.
Siddarth Ganta, Account Director, Encompass Mumbai remarked, “Planning and executing the annual conference for Monsanto is always great fun, since we get to design a complete action packed agenda for them, right down from theme to collaterals, to the thematic nights. This year, we came thought of going with the theme of Unstoppables, which reflected in everything, right down from branding, to our stage design, to an effervescent performance by Aditi Singh Sharma, Monsanto’s Got Talent, to a fun yoga/Zumba session to close the event. Needless to say the appreciation came from all quarters of the audience, and the fact that decibel and energy levels never dipped once during the 2 days is testament to the planning and execution!”
Day 1 of the conference had a very ceremonious inaugural session which constituted of the launch of the theme song for the conference, (performed by a band live), followed by the theme AV, the conference logo reveal, the flag bearers of each team coming on stage for the handover of the flags so they could take charge of their respective teams and the lighting of the torch to declare the conference open. The day ended with Awards Night & Cocktail Dinner. The awards night had a Maharashtra themed welcome for the winners on stage with a Dhol Tasha group playing live as each winner walked onto the stage.
Day 2 of the conference began with back to back sessions. Monsanto’s Got Talent took place post lunch where the teams had 5 minutes each and they had to come up with a performing arts piece. The 4 finalists then performed at the Gala Night on stage before Aditi Singh Sharma took over for closing the event.

The 2-day Awards and Conference featured a Talent Night, yoga session, and performances by Aditi Singh Sharma and a Dhol Tasha group.
