Candid Marketing conceptualised and executed POGO’s annual event for kids in Delhi and Mumbai, this month, for the second year in a row. The fun event for kids organised by Turner International India’s popular kids channel was based on the theme ‘Mighty Raju Ka Space Station’, inspired by ‘Mangalyaan’ – India’s successful mission to Mars.
The 2-day event was held at Ansal Plaza, Khel Gaon in Delhi and Inorbit Mall, Malad in Mumbai. The kids were engaged and educated via multiple fun scientific experiments, workshops and games that aided understanding of interesting facts about space and the universe. More than 8000 kids and their parents witnessed experiments that made learning about Black Hole & Rockets, fun and simple using Acetone & Liquid-nitrogen. The workshops helped learning about space elements like Earth, Rocket, Star, Moon and the Sun effortless and enjoyable for the kids.
The kids also got a chance to meet their favourite cartoon characters – Chhota Bheem, Chhutki and Mighty Raju, Mr. Bean and Tom & Jerry, and watch performances that made them sing and dance to the tunes, along with their parents.
Commenting on the activity, Amrita Kumar, Managing Partner, Candid Marketing, says, "We are privileged to have done the Pogo event for 2 years in a row now. Kids being a very difficult audience to engage, our approach was to take a subject from the present topics that they find difficult to understand and simplify it to an extent that it is no longer boring but is instead enlightening, engaging and entertaining. While designing the event, we kept in mind the Channel’s programming, kid-friendly environment and single tonality for the event. We're glad that the event received an overwhelming response from both kids & parents in both the cities."
The 2-day event held in Delhi and Mumbai saw 8000+ kids and parents try their hand at fun scientific experiments, workshops and games.
