EMG Entertainment managed the Indian Air Force Ball, 2015 at The Indian Air Force Auditorium, New Delhi in Oct. The ball was organised by the Air Force with the aim of giving officers a great experience, and took place over two days with a huge setup and nine national artists. The highlight of the event was a grand opening night with congratulatory messages for the 83rd anniversary of the Indian Air Force from stars of the film fraternity including Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan and Raveena Tandon.

Team EMG conceptualized and implemented the entire show. A mega 110-foot stage was set up, and every small detail was taken care of, as the Air Force ball is among the biggest events organised by any of the armed forces in the country.

On managing the Air Force Ball, Sharad Mathur, MD and CEO, EMG Entertainment said, “We have been managing the Air Force Ball for several years and with each year the challenge to create something extraordinary increases. This year the objective was to create an iconic event which stays in the memories of the officers and their families for years to come.”

The venue décor was all in blue and gold, blue being the colour of the Indian Air Force. Also, three different bars were setup. The VIP bar for the ‘Chief’ was designed beautifully with LED’s, while the Air Force symbol was embedded in a huge ice luge structure. The entire venue was lit up glamorously with high-tech lighting, and a huge main entrance in blue and yellow was created to welcome attendees. An LED walkthrough passage with feeds of the Air force achievements led to the main area.

The show started with confetti blasts and cold pyros, as The Chief of the Indian Air force kick-started the ball. Shiamak Davar’s dance troupe performed on Bollywood hits, followed by singer Sonu Nigam backed up by Aishwarya Nigam and Jonita Gandhi. The show ended with an Award Recognition Ceremony followed by dinner and drinks.

The second day saw singer Abhinanda Sarkar perform, after which the Dance Smith took away the show with ‘Poppy Burman’ leading the performance. Next, the audience was rolling with laughter as comedian Sunil Pal took over. Finally, Jimmy Felix had the officers and their families dancing, while the show ended with music, drinks and fun.

The 2-day event took place at the Indian Air Force Auditorium, New Delhi and saw 9 Indian Artists Perform.
