A For Pineapple (AFP) managed a Dealers & Distributors Meet for Godrej Security Solutions Pvt. Ltd from May 19 to 22 at the Ramada Caravela Beach Resort, Goa. With the theme ‘Step Up & Stand Out’, this four-day event allowed the 250 participants a chance to get acquainted with Godrej’s new products while also being entertained and rewarded for their efforts.
The agency was selected to manage this event through a multi-agency pitch. Discussing the challenges faced in executing the event, Atish Senapati, Project Lead, A for Pineapple said, “It was a great challenge for us to manage all deliverables in the sanctioned budget. On-ground it required a lot of persuasion to motivate our partners in Goa to get the heavy safe weighing almost 1500kg on the stage without any mechanical device. The whole process of taking the safe on stage was done manually by a community of people called navganies. The event also required a good amount of coordination and hard work from the team and associates.”
Day one of the meet witnessed a business session where the theme was unveiled through an AV presentation. This session also included the Institutional Product Display, where participants could experience the features and benefits of the products. The afternoon saw the launch of Mechatronic, a dramatic presentation with a ‘thief’ trying to enter the chamber where the product was stored, leading to the release of smoke and the alarm being engaged. The evening ended at Casino Deltin Royale followed by a DJ act. On Day 2, distributors also joined the dealers at the venue. During the Awards Night, top performers were acknowledged and awarded, after which a Gala Dinner took place which saw performances by international free style dancers and a DJ. The third day of the event saw only distributors participate in the Retail Product Display event in the afternoon. The theme was unveiled after the display session, which was followed by a 3 hour long conference for Retail Product Launches. All distributors spent the evening at Deltin Royale.
