Inorbit Mall hunts for talent through ‘Live at Inorbit’

Everything Goes! Communications managed an event property, ‘Live at Inorbit', in Inorbit mall, Vimanaga, Pune on Oct. 28. Live at Inorbit is a youth connect event property which provides a unique platform for the upcoming bands of the cities to perform in front of a live audience. It was first initiated in the year 2009, and has won awards such as ‘Brand Excellence in Social Marketing' at the CMO Asia Awards in Singapore, Shoppers and Consumer Insights Award in the category of ‘Most Admired Shopping Centre of the Year: Socially Responsible', and WOW Awards, among many others.

 

The property claims to have grown bigger and better, providing an array of opportunities for the bands. In a new move, radio jockeys have also selected these bands to be a part of their show. Furthermore, Inorbit Mall will be clubbing four bands and organising various tours across the city to further promote the bands. Until now, approximately 90 bands have been engaged and 30 bands are yet to perform.

 

Speaking about the property, Nishank Joshi, Deputy General Manager, Corporate Communications Inorbit Malls Pvt. Ltd. said: "This property has been enthusiastically welcomed across our malls and we hoped it would get a great response in Pune too. So far, Everything Goes! Communications has partnered us for this property at all our malls and we were sure ‘Live at Inorbit' Pune would be a great success."

 

The property organises events at Inorbit malls twice a month, introducing new bands across Mumbai, Cyberabad and Hyderabad, and now Pune. The event in Pune was promoted through a jeep which depicted the essence of the event property. An Elvis Presley look-alike travelled in the jeep and alighted at prominent locations including colleges like Wadia, Fergusson, Symbiosis and BMCC, and popular hangouts on JM Road, FC Road, and Koregaon Park, among others, and invited youngsters to sing or jam with him. The property was also promoted using social media network.

 

Commenting on their association with Inorbit mall, Vjay Dewan, Chief Creative Guardian, Everything Goes! Communications said: "As an experiential marketing agency, our endeavour is always to create something new to help the mall reach out and connect with their customers. We are the experiential marketing agency for Inorbit malls and the property is ideated, conceptualised and created by us. At every Live at Inorbit, we engage around 1,500 people."
