Hyundai Motor India Foundation Launches 5th Season of ‘Art for Hope’ on World Art Day

Hyundai Motor India Foundation Art for Hope World Art Day
On the occasion of World Art Day, Hyundai Motor India Foundation (HMIF), the CSR arm of Hyundai Motor India, announced the launch of the 5th season of its flagship initiative – ‘Hyundai Art for Hope’. Since its inception in 2021, this program has emerged as a transformative platform for emerging artists across India, fostering creative expression and promoting inclusive cultural development.
In its latest season, HMIF will extend its support to 50 talented artists and art collectives from all over the country through financial grants, professional mentorship, and a national platform to showcase their work. More than just funding, ‘Art for Hope’ offers artists emotional, social, and professional recognition, enabling them to build sustainable careers across a wide range of art disciplines.
The program has already made a significant impact in its previous four seasons, having directly benefitted over 150 artists through INR 1.65 crore in grants and touched the lives of over 25,000 artists through various workshops, exhibitions, and skill-building opportunities.
This season will feature 40 individual grants of INR 1 lakh each for artists and teams, including persons with disabilities, and 10 institutional grants of INR 2 lakh each for art collectives and institutions. The applications are open across multiple categories including Visual Art, Digital Art, Performing Art, Traditional Art & Culture, Functional Innovative Art & Craft, and Multidisciplinary Art.
