Marriott International signs agreement with The Balwa Group to debut Le Méridien in Mumbai

Marriott International has announced a new partnership with The Balwa Group to bring its premium brand, Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts, to Mumbai. The new hotel, Le Méridien Mumbai International Airport, is expected to open its doors in January 2029 and will be located just four kilometers from the city’s international airport.

This upcoming property aims to meet the rising demand for high-quality accommodations in India’s bustling financial capital. With 161 modern guest rooms and suites, the hotel will offer stylish stays for both business and leisure travelers.
Guests can look forward to a range of culinary experiences, including a specialty restaurant, a patisserie, and the brand’s signature Le Méridien Hub—a social space designed to encourage connection and conversation. The Hub will transform throughout the day, serving coffee by day and signature cocktails at the Latitude/Longitude Bar by night.
Recreational facilities at the hotel will include a fitness center, a spa, and an open-air swimming pool. For events and meetings, the hotel will feature 1,357 square meters of versatile banquet space, outdoor lawns, and a terrace, making it ideal for weddings, gatherings, and corporate functions.
