Jeet Adani Diva Shah Adani Foundation

Jeet Adani and Diva Shah's upcoming wedding will be a simple, traditional event with close family and friends. While there has been speculation about a larger, more public affair, Mr. Gautam Adani confirmed that the celebration will remain private and focused on important social causes.

Jeet Adani has long been an advocate for persons with disabilities, and this wedding will reflect that commitment. The couple has chosen to involve PwDs in the celebration, highlighting their abilities and providing a platform for their talent. This decision aims to raise awareness and promote inclusion within the community.

Ahead of the wedding, Jeet Adani and Diva Shah visited Mitti Café, a non-profit organization that provides employment opportunities for people with disabilities. The couple invited the Mitti Café team to attend the wedding, reaffirming their support for the organization’s work in offering meaningful employment.

The Adani family is also working with organizations such as Family of Disabled (FOD) from Delhi and Kai Rassi from Chennai. These NGOs support individuals with disabilities and will contribute to the wedding by creating hand-painted shawls and crafting placards to showcase FOD’s work.

A key part of the wedding is the collaboration with designer Manish Malhotra and the NGO Family of Disabled (FOD) to create custom shawls for Jeet and Diva. This partnership combines fashion with social impact. Manish Malhotra, known for his skill in blending tradition with contemporary design, is working with artisans from FOD, an organization that provides skill-based opportunities for individuals with disabilities.

The shawls are a significant part of the wedding, reflecting both tradition and support for those who are often overlooked. By working with FOD, Jeet and Diva are helping to highlight the work of artisans and people with disabilities, giving them recognition. This collaboration shows how fashion can support social causes.

In addition to the NGO collaborations, the wedding will feature contributions from artisans supported by the Adani Foundation. Artisans from across India will contribute their work, including beaded jewelry, traditional bangles, and Paithani sarees, as well as unique art pieces and handcrafted items.

This wedding is designed not only as a personal celebration but also as a way to support important causes. Through their collaborations with NGOs and local artisans, Jeet and Diva aim to contribute to the empowerment of people with disabilities and promote traditional crafts.
