Jewellery designers Amanya Bajaj and Manbir Khurana celebrated their wedding in October 2024 at Fairmont Jaipur, blending Rajasthani heritage with Punjabi traditions. Planned by Weddings by Abhishek, the multi-day event featured unique themes, well-planned decor, and personalized experiences for guests. Every element of the wedding was designed to reflect the couple’s journey, from an interactive reception entry to a flash mob during the wedding.

With a clear vision, Amanya and Manbir chose Weddings by Abhishek to plan and execute their wedding. The events highlighted their Punjabi roots while incorporating the hospitality and elegance of Rajasthan. The photography and videography for the wedding were captured by Sunny Dhiman Photography, ensuring every moment was preserved.

Guests were welcomed at a hospitality desk styled like a library, where they received personalized room keys in book-themed boxes, along with curated welcome gifts, including a hangover kit and local Rajasthani treats. The decor, designed by BFD Weddings & Events, was customized for each event, reflecting the couple’s preferences. Wedding favors included handcrafted jewellery-inspired keepsakes.

The Haldi ceremony at Zoya Terrace had a boho-chic theme, creating a comfortable and welcoming setting. The space was arranged to accommodate guests while keeping an open and elegant feel. Entertainment included singer Sunny and his band, Simran Dholis, and anchor Mr. Bakshi, who kept the event lively. Guests enjoyed food from vendors like Kesar Da Dhaba from Amritsar and authentic chaat counters, while The Spirit Masters' bartenders served a selection of drinks. A key moment was the couple’s entry through a custom-made poster as dhol beats played in the background.

Amanya and Manbir made a Bollywood-inspired entry, breaking through a custom-made poster as dhol beats played. Singer Sunny and his band performed, Simran Dholis added energy, and anchor Mr. Bakshi kept the guests engaged. The menu featured Amritsari dishes from Kesar Da Dhaba, a variety of chaat, and cocktails by The Spirit Masters.

As the sun set, the Jaimala ceremony took place in the courtyard of Fairmont Jaipur, with an elevated stage set against the hotel’s facade. Inspired by Dil Diyan Gallan, Amanya surprised Manbir with a dance performance from the Fairmont’s terrace, while Manbir entered with torchbearers carrying mashals. Amanya’s entry included a walk under a floral canopy with her brothers, followed by a solo walk.

The setting was lit with over 1,000 candles, while flower showers, cold pyros, and fireworks added to the moment. After the Jaimala, guests moved to the ballroom for the ring ceremony, designed around a Sufi Night theme. The entrance passage was styled as an immersive tunnel to enhance the atmosphere. Mr. Bakshi continued to engage the audience.
The evening included performances by Jassi Sidhu and Amrit Wadali. A special moment was Amanya’s dance tribute to her family, set to a montage of her childhood memories displayed on a large LED screen.

The Anand Karaj ceremony took place at Raja Ji Park Gurudwara, with in-house logistics ensuring smooth transportation for nearly 200 guests. After the ceremony, everyone returned to the hotel for a White Daydream lunch.

The decor featured white florals, soft pastels, and drapes, creating a serene atmosphere. Amanya and Manbir had solo entries. A poolside lunch setup included a stage placed at the center of the pool, creating a floating effect. A beautifully constructed aisle across the pool led to the seating area.

DJ Raquish and anchor Mr. Bakshi engaged guests with interactive activities, keeping the energy lively. One of the highlights was a video recorded by DJ Raquish, which received 31 million views on Instagram. As the couple arrived on stage, 1,000 helium balloons were released, creating a memorable moment.

Post-lunch, the Vidaai ceremony took place, marking the emotional farewell of the bride. The team then focused on organizing the Reception Night. The banquet hall was covered in LED walls, creating a galaxy effect. The theme was executed with thoughtful details, where each guest was provided with a key required for entry. Foreign artists held locks, and only those guests who successfully unlocked them were granted access, adding an element of surprise. The decor featured constellation-inspired lighting and metallic elements, with a starry dance floor as the centerpiece. DJ Raquish and a singer provided music, ensuring the celebration continued late into the night.
