Madhya Pradesh has received a prestigious accolade from the Wall Street Journal, naming it one of the “Go-To Global Destinations for 2025.” This recognition underscores the state’s remarkable heritage, abundant wildlife, and unparalleled natural beauty. The announcement highlights Madhya Pradesh’s growing reputation as a must-visit destination for global travelers.

Expressing his delight, Sheo Shekhar Shukla, Principal Secretary of the Tourism and Culture Department and Managing Director of the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, emphasized that this acknowledgment solidifies the state’s position as a world-class travel destination. “With 14 UNESCO World Heritage Sites—three permanent and eleven tentative—along with nine tiger reserves and vibrant cultural experiences, Madhya Pradesh offers something unique for every traveler,” he said. 

The Wall Street Journal specifically spotlighted key attractions, including the renowned UNESCO World Heritage site of Khajuraho, celebrated for its exquisite temples and intricate carvings. The lush landscapes of Panna and the thrilling wildlife encounters in Bandhavgarh were also highlighted for their cultural significance and natural splendor. Together, these destinations showcase the diverse tourism offerings of Madhya Pradesh, blending history, wildlife, and scenic beauty to create a truly exceptional travel experience.
