The Gateway LitFest (GLF) brings India’s regional voices to life, celebrating languages and countless tales in a symphony of culture and tradition. Bridging worlds with translation, digital innovation, and cross-cultural exchanges, GLF crafts a boundless tapestry of literary unity. With the evolving landscape of literature and the way content is consumed, Gateway Litfest is shifting its focus from solely traditional literature to embracing “all things literature”.
Designed by Popcorn Creatives, the refreshed visual identity elegantly incorporates the essence of Indian calligraphy, a cultural cornerstone. The design weaves together various scripts to symbolise inclusivity and unity. The mnemonic - a fusion of the letters 'GLF' is shaped like a pen nib and an open book, paying homage to storytelling and the enduring legacy of Gateway LitFest.
Mohan Kakanadan, Festival Director, The Gateway LitFest said, “Gateway LitFest now aspires to be more than just an event; it’s envisioned as a vibrant platform that unites literary enthusiasts, creators, innovators, and even brands. From flagship festivals to satellite events and digital experiences, GLF seeks to bridge the gap between tradition and the future, connecting audiences across diverse mediums.”
Sabarinath, Executive Director, The Gateway LitFest said, “This reflection inspired us to rethink the fundamentals of how we approach literature and storytelling. Our mission remains unchanged - to create a platform where established and emerging writers from every Indian language unite, share their insights, foster unity, and amplify our literary heritage on a global stage.”
