Globus Spirits launches its first single malt whisky, DŌAAB India Craft Whisky, entering the luxury segment of India's growing whisky market. DŌAAB, a name inspired by the Hindi words "dō" (two) and "aab" (water), refers to the fertile land between two rivers, symbolizing the blend of diverse influences and perspectives. This philosophy drives DŌAAB, a whisky designed for a new generation eager to embrace innovation and discovery.
The first release, 01 Six Blind Men and the Elephant, is a limited-edition single malt aged in 100% ex-bourbon barrels. Only 500 casks are available, making it a rare and special offering. The whisky’s packaging, featuring motifs from Rajasthan's mandana art, blends tradition with modernity.
With its superior distillation, captivating story, and elegant design, DŌAAB is set to attract both whisky lovers and newcomers to the world of single malts.
Speaking on the launch, Shekhar Swarup, Joint Managing Director, Globus Spirits said, “Within two years the company has innovated into various segments in the drinks industry of India and we are proud to raise the standards with the launch of DŌAAB.
