Art Mumbai 2024, a celebration of Modern & Contemporary Art returns with its 2nd edition

Art Mumbai returns for its second edition from November 14 to 17, hosted once again at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse. This showcase of modern and contemporary art will bring together works from across India, South Asia, and beyond. Building on the success of its debut, this year’s edition will span a larger space and feature an expanded selection of galleries, along with immersive installations designed to draw visitors into a world of creative expression.

The driving force behind Art Mumbai, Co-Founders Minal and Dinesh Vazirani, Conor Macklin, and Nakul Dev Chawla, are committed to making art accessible to all, from curious newcomers to seasoned collectors. Known for their expertise in art curation and gallery management, they’ve expanded the fair to include 71 galleries this year.

Art Mumbai 2024’s vision goes beyond the confines of the fair itself. The organisers have developed Art Mumbai Gateway, a year-round programme inspired by the city’s Gateway of India landmark. This initiative includes exhibitions, art walks, workshops, and performances that extend the spirit of the fair into a continuous dialogue across India and internationally. Earlier this year, Art Mumbai Gateway hosted events in London, Delhi, and Mumbai, a testament to its ambition to cultivate an enduring cultural conversation that connects local perspectives with global ideas.
