2024 Celebrates the Spectacular Pinnacle of WOW Awards Asia's 15-Year Legacy with 5,000+ Attendees!

WOW Awards Asia and Convention 2024, powered by Inventum Global, Rixos Hotels, and co-powered by Motus One, concluded its 15th edition on August 17-18 at the prestigious Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. This remarkable event stood as Asia's largest platform for the Experiential Marketing, MICE, LIVE Entertainment, and Wedding industries, making it a focal point for business recognition and excellence.

An initiative of EVENTFAQS Media and curated by Nautanki Co., this two-day extravaganza was an extraordinary celebration of the event and experiential industry, attracting an impressive 5,000+ attendees, participants, exhibitors, and live artists. The guest list included prominent names such as Dia Mirza, Konkona Sen, Kailash Kher, Jubin Nautiyal, Mithali Raj, Bismil, Smita Thackrey, Sanjeev Kapoor, Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Dr. Ali Follad, Fikri Ataoğlu, Brian Tellis, Lydia Buthello, Renjie Wong, and many more industry delegates.

The WOW Awards Asia 2024, a grand celebration of excellence, featured an impressive array of 100 categories divided into five distinctive groups. Each group showcased its unique set of categories, recognizing and honoring outstanding achievements in various facets of the experiential industry. From marketing artistry to awe-inspiring celebrations, technological innovations, remarkable venues, and live experiences, WOW Awards Asia 2024 left no stone unturned in its quest to acknowledge excellence in these diverse realms.

This year, a total of 2,500+ entries were received from 400+ agencies in five different categories: Experiential Marketing, Experiential Celebrations, Experiential Tech, LIVE Quotient, and Venue. The entries were evaluated by EY and over 70 jury members. More than 200+ agency winners received awards in various categories at WOW Awards 2024. Laqshya Live Experiences stood out as the ‘Agency of the Year,’ followed by The Silly Fellows as the Silver Agency of the Year and Communique Marketing Solutions as the Bronze Agency of the Year at the gala night.

To celebrate and honor extraordinary work, WOW also presented special awards. Bismil was recognized for Outstanding Achievements in Sufi Music, while the celebrated Padma Shri Kailash Kher received an award for Exceptional Contribution to the Music Industry. Jubin Nautiyal was aptly titled the Singing Sensation of India. Ritu Marya, the Editor-in-Chief & Director of Franchise India, was lauded for Pioneering Excellence in Events & Experiential Space.

Anil Singh, Managing Director of Procam International, and Geeta Samuel, Director of QEvents, received the Lifetime Achievement Award for outstanding contributions. Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, the Union Minister of Culture and Tourism, was honored as the Goodwill Ambassador by the Event Industry. Sajid Sayeed, Founder of XPRTX, was acknowledged as the International Future Initiative Pioneer, and Black Orange was awarded the Best International Sporting Event, highlighting their excellence in organizing global sports events, among others.

Highlights of WOW Awards Asia 2024 included segments like #ShowURWOW, WOW Garage, WOW Lab, WOW Expo, and panel discussions on intriguing and industry-relevant topics. The event also witnessed the launch of highly anticipated magazines like ET Panache 35 Under 35, ET Panache Women of India, and Entertainers Connect.

WOW 2024 also hosted the Experiential CMO Awards, recognizing excellence and honoring CMOs across the country on the first day of the event. A total of 25 winners received the prestigious CMO Awards, including Aakash Mishra, Kaustubh Pawar, Lalita Nayak, Milind Shah, Siddhant Vora, Jasmeet Singh, Laxman Tari, and Yatnesh Pandey, among others. Ashish Mishra from ACKO was named Experiential CMO of the Year 2024.

Additionally, WOW 2024 featured the MaxiMICE Awards, which celebrated excellence and honored outstanding achievements in corporate stakeholder engagement and channel marketing through MICE across the nation. A total of 22 winners were recognized with the prestigious MaxiMICE Awards, including notable names like Sandesh Avasare, Sunil Kumar Singh Chauhan, Jatin Pandya, Rakesh Ojha, Gary Grover, Sunila Patil, and Nandakumar Devarajan, among others.

WOW Expo saw participation from over 40 exhibitors from India and overseas. Exhibitors from various verticals and product lines, including Sri Lanka Tourism, Motus One, Rixos Premium Seagate, Inventum Global, Premagic, Soundkraft, Rove Hotels, Weddingsutra, and ITC Hotels, showcased their offerings during the two-day exhibition.

Another highlight of the event was the venue itself, the Jio World Convention Centre, known for its state-of-the-art infrastructure, exceptional hospitality, and outstanding event experience. The culinary team, comprising specialists from diverse regions, delivered exemplary dining, which received high praise from all attendees. The venue ensured that every event exceeded expectations.
