Kerala Cricket League Thrissur Titans
The Thrissur Titans, competing in the Kerala Cricket League T20, have unveiled a logo that highlights the thrissur Pooram festival and the elephant, symbols of the city's pride and heritage. The logo features a hue of yellow representing the vibrant “Kudamaattam” and “Aanachamayam” elements of the Thrissur Pooram, as well as the city's association with gold and silk.
Team owner Sajjad Sait, a prominent businessman and former cricketer, explained that the logo draws inspiration from the globally renowned Thrissur Pooram and its presiding elephant. The green in the logo symbolizes Kerala, known as "God's Own Country". The logo has been designed by Popkon Creatives, a leading branding agency based in Kochi.
The Kerala Cricket Association recently released the logos for all teams participating in the league. Vishnu Vinod, a player from the Mumbai Indians, has been announced as the icon star of the Thrissur Titans. The auction for other players will take place on August 10 at the Hotel Hyatt Regency in Thiruvananthapuram, with the matches set to be held at the Kariavattom Greenfield Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram from September 2. Alongside the Thrissur Titans, five other teams will compete in the tournament.
