WOW Awards - Asia’s largest business and recognition platform for the Experiential Marketing, MICE, LIVE Entertainment, and Wedding industry is gearing up for its 15th edition at the JIO World Convention Centre in Mumbai.

The WOW Awards Asia 2024 is now accepting entries across 110 Categories distributed among five distinct groups: Group A: Experiential Marketing Awards, Group B: Experiential Celebrations Awards, Group C: Experiential Tech Awards, Group D: Hotel & Venue Awards, and Group E: Live Quotient Awards. 

With a two-phased judging process conducted by jury members, audited, and validated by EY, the awards ceremony promises to be a glittering affair. Each jury member is carefully selected from diverse backgrounds with extensive industry experience to ensure transparency in the judging process. Their expertise plays a pivotal role in determining the most deserving winners.

As you prepare to showcase your best work in the event and experiential domain, aiming to bring home the coveted accolades, let's introduce you to the esteemed Experiential Marketing Jury.

Experiential Marketing, known as Group A, encompasses campaigns, events, activities, and initiatives by brands, corporations, associations, government bodies, etc., aimed at promotion, communication, and marketing. The Experiential Marketing Awards feature 39 categories that will be meticulously judged by a panel of expert jury members.

Harinder Singh Pelia, Founder, 10Xer Club

Harinder Singh Pelia is the founder of the 10Xer Club, a community designed for marketers by marketers, focused on addressing upskilling, networking, and hiring challenges for marketing talent in India. Prior to this, he worked as a Marketing Leader at Amazon, where he was involved in various 0 to 1 projects aimed at scaling Amazon Fashion from the ground up. Harinder has also played a key role in shaping brands in the luxury fashion industry, including Diesel, Ajio Luxe, and The White Crow. 

Rachna Khanna, Co-Founder & Managing Partner , The Purple Tab

Meet Rachna Khanna, an experienced marketing leader, with over 24 years of proven success in crafting and executing dynamic marketing strategies across diverse industries. With a rich background spanning corporate and agency environments, her proficiency extends across a wide spectrum of marketing channels, including traditional, digital and social media, events and IP-based initiatives, and using conversational AI & ML for brand advantage. An IIM A and NYU alumnus, she has had the privilege of creating and implementing innovative marketing strategies and campaigns for prominent Fortune 500 companies as well as up and coming start-ups.

Rachna is currently the Co-founder & Managing Partner at The Purple Tab, a new age fractional marketing firm focused on offering skills and solutions for the evolving business needs of growth stage companies. A practicing life and leadership coach, Rachna is also an AI and mar-tech enthusiast, an active industry mentor and a committed DEI advocate.

Raghuveer Singh, Director Marketing - SVOD, ZEE5

Raghuveer Singh - A marketing professional with 14+ years of marketing experience across the retail, finance & entertainment industry.

Currently working as Director Marketing at ZEE5 and have worked with Aditya Birla Capital, TATA Trent, and HyperCity Retail India in my past assignments.

Awarded with Business Mint 40 under 40 as an Industry Marketing expert for OTT category in 2022.

Rahul Dhamdhere, Chief Marketing Officer, KidZania India

Rahul is a recognized brand change consultant who has championed some of the most successful brand turnaround strategies and product launch campaigns in India. A brand specialist with over 21 years of experience, he has been pivotal in the brand development and rebranding of over 10 national brands. His portfolio includes brands such as Piramal Group, Nexus Malls (India’s largest Mall Company), L&T Seawoods (India’s Largest Transit oriented development) , HCC, The Bandra Worli Sealink (India’s first Cable Stay Bridge), and Recron Pillows (Reliance Polyester), India’s largest selling pillow brand.

Equally at ease leading B2B or B2C businesses, building global powerhouse or locally disruptive brands. 

Rajesh Kumar, Events Marketing Manager, Red Bull

Experienced Sports Marketing professional with a demonstrated history of working in the sports and advertising industry. Skilled in Sales, Sponsorship, Marketing, Business Strategy and Event Management. MBA from MDI, Gurgaon and Diploma in Sports Management from Leipzig University, Germany.

Rohan Jain, Business Operation Head - Sony AATH and Marketing Head, Sony Pictures Networks India

 

Marketing Professional with expertise in Product Management, Brand Management, Customer segmentation and Lifecycle Management. Distinct experience in B2C marketing and customer experience management.

Royston Netto , Head - Product and Marketing , Bajaj Finserv Asset Management Limited 

Royston Netto is the Head of Product and Marketing at Bajaj Finserv Asset Management  Limited. He is responsible for building saliency and preference for the brand as well as  driving business through the company’s digital channels. 

Royston joined the Bajaj Finserv Group in 2013. During the last 10 years, he has  managed various Marketing roles across Advertising & Communications, Brand Strategy,  Research, Digital Marketing, Retail Marketing and Experience Design, at Bajaj Finance  Limited. His most recent role was as Head of Content Marketing and Group Brand  Management, where he was responsible for managing the brand platform for all group  companies as well as transforming the function into a Content Tech unit that fuelled the  company’s digital transformation agenda. 

Prior to joining the Bajaj Finserv Group, Royston led account management roles at  various leading Indian advertising agencies viz. Contract (part of the WPP Group), DDB  Mudra & BBH and also did a sales stint at Coca-Cola.

Sooraj Balakrishnan, Head of Marketing, Acer India, Bangladesh and Bhutan

Sooraj Balakrishnan is currently the Head of Marketing at Acer overseeing India, Bangladesh and Bhutan markets. He is responsible for the entire product portfolio across PCs, tablets, monitors, projectors, audio, air purifiers and smart IoT devices for consumer, education, enterprise, government and banking segments. In his capacity he drives brand preference, customer acquisitions, product marketing, and strategic alliances. He also leads all GTM marketing efforts for the brand across online and offline channels. 

Having worked with some iconic brands in India and establishing new categories across PC and automobiles during his advertising and marketing career, Sooraj is a seasoned professional who has spearheaded multiple award-winning campaigns. He is also a regular speaker and contributor at various media forums and jury member to awards.

As a marketing leader, he is leading the Acer brand in the new normal and establishing new GTM and marketing model to reflect the changing consumer behaviour and driving the next chapter of marketing excellence and growth.

Sumedha Mahajan, Head of Marketing, India, Ampverse

Sumedha Mahajan is a seasoned marketer, with a passion for crafting brand stories and compelling narratives. Currently at the helm as the Head of Marketing, India for Ampverse DMI, she's scripting the next chapter for Esports in India. Prior to this, she has worked with brands like Paytm and MPL, and worked on multiple experiential & event marketing campaigns.

From launching the Indian Cricket Team  Jersey to partnering with the biggest FMCGs & movies, running BTL campaigns in Rajasthan , creating the GTM for Paytm's loyalty program, she has been fortunate to work across diverse scales and channels. Beyond work, she mentors at GrowthX and consults early stage startups. 

She is passionate about Psychology and Public Policy and having studied both, tried to implement the learnings in her daily work. Off work, she is a voracious reader, mental health advocate and a foodie.

Vijay Kumar Pampana, Head of Marketing, P&G Health

Vijay is an award-winning global executive with 12 years of experience in Building Brands & Marketing teams, Leading Breakthrough Innovations & Executions, Digital & E-commerce, Mobile Marketing, across leading brands of FMCG & Healthcare. He is currently serving as Head of Marketing at P&G Health India. In his previous role within P&G, Vijay has been responsible for the brand management of Vicks, Gillette, and Oral B across Singapore, Philippines, and Vietnam.

Vijay is a Harvard Certified Marketer in Artificial Intelligence and has anchored Vicks rise as a key formidable FMCG player with campaigns such as “Touch of Care”, innovations such as “Vicks VapoRub Extra Strong” & “Vicks Roll-On Inhaler” as well as anchored the setting-up of a digital ecosystem for Gillette in APAC in his previous roles.

Vijay has recently pioneered industry-leading campaigns such as “Neurobion Feel Life”, “Evion OMG” and “Livogen Let Her Break Free” and helped P&G Health achieve 4 GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS! Passionate to contribute to society, he is a sponsor of two children (in India and Kenya) and one of the founding members of an NGO.
