Universal Music India has announced a strategic partnership with the Women of Music India Foundation. The collaboration aims to promote an inclusive, diverse, and equitable environment for female artists, opening doors to new opportunities and fostering a supportive community.

Devraj Sanyal, Chairman & CEO, India & South Asia; SVP Strategy, AMEA (Africa, Middle East, Asia), Universal Music Group said, "I have long been a great supporter of women at work and by extension one of the biggest crusaders of #WomenOfMusic. Sanyal highlighted his deep involvement with the Women of Music movement from its early stages and praised his colleague and friend, Priyanka Khimani, for her pivotal role in the initiative. "There could be no one better to bring it to its current state and be responsible for its future charter than my dear friend, colleague, lawyer, and the ultimate Woman in Music, also the only Indian Billboard Woman of Music, Priyanka Khimani."

Together, Sanyal and Khimani aim to leverage their networks to benefit the distinguished members of the Women of Music India Foundation.
