WOW Awards - Asia’s largest business and recognition platform for the Experiential Marketing, MICE, LIVE Entertainment, and Wedding industry is gearing up for its 15th edition at the JIO World Convention Centre in Mumbai.

The WOW Awards Asia 2024 is now accepting entries across 110 Categories distributed among five distinct groups: Group A: Experiential Marketing Awards, Group B: Experiential Celebrations Awards, Group C: Experiential Tech Awards, Group D: Hotel & Venue Awards, and Group E: Live Quotient Awards. 

With a two-phased judging process conducted by jury members, audited, and validated by EY, the awards ceremony promises to be a glittering affair. Each jury member is carefully selected from diverse backgrounds with extensive industry experience to ensure transparency in the judging process. Their expertise plays a pivotal role in determining the most deserving winners.

As you prepare to showcase your best work in the event and experiential domain, aiming to bring home the coveted accolades, let's introduce you to the esteemed Experiential Marketing Jury.

Experiential Marketing, known as Group A, encompasses campaigns, events, activities, and initiatives by brands, corporations, associations, government bodies, etc., aimed at promotion, communication, and marketing. The Experiential Marketing Awards feature 39 categories that will be meticulously judged by a panel of expert jury members.

The esteemed Jury of Experiential Marketing Group are:

Abhishek Gaurav, Marketing Head, Amazon Music

Result oriented digital and marketing leader with over 16 years of experience. Proficient in extracting maximum ROI from marketing spends through data led insights and strategy. Current role is to head marketing for Amazon Music India. Prior experiences include Heading Customer Acquisition, driving growth and sales strategy for 7 years at Zee across the 3 video OTT services - ZEE5, dittoTV and OZEE. During the initial 7 years in the professional career, led key roles in agencies across Media Planning & Buying, Client Servicing, Account Management, launching new markets and business development.

Anchal Kaushal, Vice President – Customer Marketing , Diageo

A Marketing Professional with close to 18 years of work experience across the marketing functions of – Customer Marketing, Brand Marketing, Product Management and Marketing Communications. Of these 18 years, I have spent 14 years in the alco-bev industry. I started my career with Bharti Airtel Limited across the functions of Product Marketing & Marketing Communications. I started y alco-bev journey with Pernod Ricard India where I’ve handled 3 profiles in a span of 7+ years. I’ve managed Luxury Brands portfolio and Premium Scotches portfolio within Brand Marketing as well as Customer marketing for their International brands vertical. Post Pernod Ricard I dived into a venture of my own into whisky education, experience & marketing strategy called Liquid Sunshine Marketing LLP. I swung back into the corporate world couple of years later and I now work for Diageo India as their Customer Marketing Head. Diageo is the world’s largest alco-bev company.

Ashish Jha , Brand Lead, Bacardi

Ashish Jha is the Brand Lead for BACARDÍ in India. Passionate about building lifestyle brands, especially bringing brands to life experientially making an impact in consumers lives. He infuses every campaign with a unique flair to create lasting connections with audiences. His work at BACARDÍ with It’s a Mood campaign, Casa Bacardi and NH7 is a testament to his ability to deliver unforgettable experiences.

Ashish Kaul, CMO, Hero Realty

Ashish Kaul is a PhD, Master’s in Sociology, MBA, PG in Advertising, BA ( Public Administration & History). Ashish has also an illustrious Senior Fellowship( CCRT, Ministry of Culture). Ashish is a bestselling author of 6 historical books. Didda the warrior Queen was released by Amitabh Bachchan, Refugee Camp by I&B Minister, StreeDesh- the legendary women of Kashmir by Minister for External Affairs & Culture, RakhtGulab by HRD Minister, 1967 Parmeshwari Andolan by Parliamentarian Suresh Prabhu.

Ashish is a recipient of various prestigious awards like “Man of Excellence Award 2020”, National Education Brilliance Award  and Recipient of commendation by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India and Hon’ble Governor of Maharashtra.

Ashish has been Group President of entire Zee Network, CEO Prakash Jha Films, Business Head of Hinduja Group, Country Manager of Bajaj Group and Founder of Folklore Entertainment. Ashish is currently Chief Marketing Officer for the illustrious Hero Realty ( Hero Enterprise)

Garima Mamgain, Global segment marketing manager, 3M

Garima is a marketing leader with over 13 years of experience across business and consumer brands. Currently, she is the Global Segment Marketing Manager at 3M Inc. She has previously handled various marketing roles at Porsche & Audi, Nokia & Caterpillar. Outside work, Garima writes a weekly marketing newsletter called The Marketing Dojo on Substack.

Ishita Grover, Director of Marketing and Government Relations, OnePlus

With over 15 years of experience in the consumer technology space, I am a marketing and communications leader who is passionate about creating and executing impactful strategies that drive visibility, resonance, and growth for OnePlus in the India region. I am the Director of Marketing and Government Relations at OnePlus, a leading global consumer technology company, where I lead and manage teams across various functions and domains. 

As a PR master and a certified growth hacker, I have a proven track record of developing and executing comprehensive marketing campaigns across brand and product portfolios, including strategic planning, crisis communication, influencer engagement, media relations, and brand narratives. I have worked closely with new economy companies and start-ups, and have built a core strength in consumer tech PR, having worked with global brands like Nokia, Samsung Mobile, Blackberry, and SanDisk. 

Mihira Kulatunga, Country Marketing Manager, Uniliver Food Solution

Known for his avant-garde approach to strategy and problem-solving skills, Mihira Kulatunga is a seasoned professional with 20+ years of experience in Advertising, Sales, Marketing, and General Management. After a multi award-winning stint in advertising with J. Walter Thompson, he moved to Unilever, where for the last 15 years he has handled multiple categories, across functional roles and P&L responsibilities within South Asia.

He is currently the Marketing Manager at Unilever Food Solutions for Malaysia and Singapore. Mihira is a specialist in brand building, communication, marketing science, and process management.

Nishank Joshi, CMO, Nexus Select Malls

One of India’s most experienced Shopping Centre Marketing Professional. Have had the opportunity to launch or relaunch over 15 shopping Centers across India, the most by any shopping center marketer.

During this period he has help create multiple brand architectures whilst working in tandem with the world's finest branding companies. His extensive stint in the Shopping Centre Industry has seen him conceptualize and execute countless experiential events as well as innumerable brand campaigns in addition to having launched the largest number of mall IP events in India. Not only was  he won India’s first and then multiple international award winner at the ICSC APAC Awards, he has also served as a jury member there.

Pavan Singh, General Manager Marketing, Amul India

As Marketing Head of Amul’s dairy products business, my portfolio includes Amul's flagship dairy product categories along with wide range of emerging and upcoming product categories. My responsibility includes continuous growth acceleration in volumes and value, enhancement in market share as well as portfolio profitability, category expansion, synergistic businesses diversification, macro supply chain management, customer base expansion, penetration into new geographies, investment planning and general health management of the business. For my portfolio, I am also responsible for long term strategic planning, creating business roadmaps including macro-forecasts for both demand and supply side of the business. Till recent past, I have also headed Amul’s Modern Trade and E-Commerce business for a decade. I am also responsible for new business diversification synergistic with my portfolio, including identification, development, evaluation, commercialization and eventual launch of new products. I am also part of the core team of brand custodians for Brand Amul responsible for planning and executing all activities aimed at managing & strengthening equity of the umbrella brand. 

Prasanna Rai, CMO and Head of Ecommerce Business, Wipro Consumer Care and Lighting

A marketing professional with more than 20 years experience in managing brands across categories ranging from Foods, Personal Care to Consumer Durables. Proud to be associated with new brand launches and in building of brands like Aashirvaad, Kitchens Of India, Listerine and Glucovita Bolts.
