Q1) How do you perceive the current growth trajectory of the event industry, and what factors contribute to this growth?
The event industry is expected to only grow the upward ladder thanks to the growth and innovation of technology and interactivity.. Some of the factors that contribute to this growth are the increasing demand for experiential and immersive events, the adoption of hybrid and virtual formats, the use of AI and other technologies to enhance engagement and personalization, and the rising importance of events as a marketing and PR tool.
Q2) How has the landscape of events evolved, and what emerging trends do you anticipate will gain prominence in the coming months?
The landscape of events has evolved significantly in the past few years, especially due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Some of the emerging trends that are likely to gain prominence in the coming months are:
Hybrid events that combine the best of both in-person and virtual experiences, are now offering greater flexibility, reach, and sustainability. Events are consciously trying to focus on creating transformational experiences that inspire, educate, and connect attendees, rather than just providing information or entertainment.
The central point of an event now is to reflect on the brand values and social responsibility of the organizers and sponsors, such as accessibility, diversity, inclusion, and environmental impact which gives the event a touch of personalisation and adds to a lot of emotions directly. Events and Event organizers intentionally leverage data and analytics to measure and optimize the ROI, as well as to personalize and tailor the content and interactions for each attendees.
