BCCI sets cumulative base price for IPL partners at Rs 2,700 crore for 5 years

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has reportedly set a cumulative base price for six associate and three special partner slots for IPL. The price has been set at Rs 2,700 crore, according to media reports.

The report mentioned that the base price for the six associate partners is Rs 65 crore a year for 74 matches, totalling up to Rs 325 crore for five years. The cumulative base price amounts to Rs 1,950 crore for five years, said the report quoting BCCI's request for quotation (RFQ) document.

According to the news report, the annual base prices for the orange and purple caps, umpire, and strategic timeout partnerships are Rs 60 crore, Rs 50 crore, and Rs 40 crore, respectively, for 74 matches. The cumulative base price for these three partnership slots amounts to Rs 750 crore over five years.

The last date for the RFQ purchase is February 19 and the bids are to be submitted on February 21.
