Rhea and Ashwin, a couple from India and Pakistan, celebrated their cross-cultural love story with a grand wedding in Istanbul. Their journey began at Warwick University, and the festivities took place at the luxurious Ciragan Palace Kempinski.
The welcome lunch had a Greek theme with string performers creating a joyful atmosphere. The groom made a thrilling entrance on a quad bike, and the bride's dance stole hearts. The Haldi ceremony, with a Greek theme, featured personalized details and enchanting dance performances.
A welcome dinner at Binbirdirek Cistern embraced a black and white theme with sophisticated decor and inventive cuisine by Puneet Sickand. Day 2 turned into a Mexican fiesta with a cricket match, unique entrances, and a street-food extravaganza showcasing Turkish delights.
The 'Astro Beats' themed sangeet on Day 2 blended astrology and core elements. The night featured water drummers, aerial performers, Sufi artists, and a Money Heist-themed party with a playful heist by the couple and their pup Truffle.
The wedding, a fairy tale, sailed on a yacht with Turkish-themed decor. Ceremonial proceedings at Esma Sultan Palace included a grand Varmala ceremony and pyro-musical fireworks. The celebration continued with an after-party featuring DJ Ganesh and Band.
