Kommune’s exclusive and most sought-after festival, “Spoken Fest” is back with its fifth edition in Mumbai on February 3 and 4, 2024, at the Jio Garden, BKC. Spoken Fest gives its audience the joy of discovery over two days of strumming music, multiple stages, slam poetry, art forum, dramatic readings, musical comedy, engaging masterclasses, and much more!!

Spoken Fest has been Kommune's Halo IP and a place where people discover the most powerful voices globally; tune into an experiences that help them explore and hone their creativity; and a place where brands get a chance to interact meaningfully with creators and audiences. It started in Jio Gardens in 2017 and it is in 4 annual editions considered the Holy Grail of the mindful millennials and Gen Z creators in India. 

Spoken is a multistage, zero waste, highly engaging experience that is curated year round and has a mix of spoken word, music, comedy and conversations. Through Spoken they extend their community each year from beyond the realms of just spoken word creators and enthusiasts, to ‘mindful millennials’ who seek novelty, authenticity and true connection. It is a festival where the audience forms an emotional connect with the artists, the words and the festival itself. 

Some of the artists Spoken had in previous editions are Zakir Khan, Imitiaz Ali, Radhika Apte, Babil Khan, Ahsaas Channa, Rahul Subramaniam, Mini Mathur, Amol Prashar, Mithila Palkar, Sandhya Mridul, Prateek Kuhad, Kalki. Swanand Kirkire, Gaurav Kapur, Ankur Tewari, Indian Ocean, Bhuvan Bam etc. 

This year Spoken Fest has announced the first set of artists that include Sriti Jha, Sayani Gupta, Rahgir, Raabia Kapoor, Shikha Talsania, Likhari, Shweta Tripathi Sharma and SlowCheeta. They are going to announcing the next set of artists in the coming week along with some exciting headliner reveals.
