The Sports Authority of Goa (SAG), acting on behalf of the Governor of Goa, has issued an invitation for online percentage bids for the "Engagement of Event Management Agency for Accommodation, Catering, Transportation, and ACT Management for the 37th National Games 2023, Goa." This prestigious event promises a host of opportunities for event management agencies to showcase their expertise and contribute to the successful execution of the National Games. 

Who Can Bid?

Event management agencies with a proven track record in organizing large-scale sporting events, managing accommodation and catering services, and handling transportation logistics are eligible to bid for this project. It is crucial for bidders to demonstrate their capabilities in executing complex event operations, ensuring top-notch hospitality, and coordinating various aspects of ACT (Accommodation, Catering, and Transportation) management. The bidding process is open to experienced agencies that can meet the stringent requirements and standards set by the Sports Authority of Goa.

How to Bid?

Bidders interested in participating in this opportunity must adhere to the following steps:

Obtain Tender Documents: The first step is to request the tender documents through the official website of the Sports Authority of Goa (https://eprocure.goa.gov.in). To access the documents, bidders are required to make online payments for the Cost of Tender Documents, Tender Processing Fee, and Earnest Money Deposit. These fees are non-refundable and must be paid using e-payment modes such as NEFT, RTGS, OTC, or Debit Card Facility.

Technical Presentation: Eligible bidders will be required to make a technical presentation on their approach, methodology, team composition, and initiatives in the SAG Conference Room, Athletic Stadium, Cujira, Bambolim, Goa.

Financial Bid Opening: The date for the opening of the Financial Bids will be communicated through a letter of CORRIGENDUM, which will be uploaded on the e-procurement portal (https://eprocure.goa.gov.in).

Project Period: The project is expected to span approximately 120 days.

Scope of Work:

The Event Management Agency (EMA) selected for the 37th National Games 2023, Goa, will have a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of the event. The scope of work encompasses the following key responsibilities:

Accommodation Management: This involves the management of accommodations for participants and officials, including reservations, room allocation, and ensuring a comfortable stay throughout the event.

Catering Services: The agency will be responsible for catering services, including planning menus, food preparation, and serving meals to participants and staff, adhering to the highest quality and safety standards.

Transportation Logistics: Coordinating transportation services, which includes arranging for the movement of athletes, officials, and equipment between venues and accommodations.

ACT Management: ACT stands for Accommodation, Catering, and Transportation management, where the agency will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth integration of these services to provide a hassle-free experience for all participants and guests.

It is essential for the selected Event Management Agency to work closely with the Sports Authority of Goa and various state and union territory contingents to ensure the successful implementation of the National Games.
