Watermark Event Solutions LLP celebrates INS Vikrant’s commissioning event first Anniversary. Watermark was instrumental in exclusively managing the commissioning event that took place on September 2, 2022, inside Cochin Shipyard, attended by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, with over 2,500 distinguished guests including top officials from the Indian army, Indian Navy, air force, foreign delegates and media.

With a nationwide team of event professionals, including designers, Watermark embarked on an extensive preparation journey for the INS Vikrant commissioning ceremony 4 months in advance. Conducting a thorough recce of the shipyard, they assessed the feasibility of hosting the grand event within the limited space. Clearing the entire area around the ship's anchorage was paramount, necessitating coordination among 300 to 400 workers. Over a period of 14 days, Watermark meticulously erected a 1.25 lakhs sq. ft German hangar, crafting the stage and seating for over 2500 VIPs and dignitaries in a gallery style facing the majestic INS Vikrant.The team also executed branding requirements covering over 80,000 sq.ft of the venue to meet the client's vision. To elevate the visual experience, 4000 square feet of LED screens were installed, relaying the entire activity along with commentary.
