KASHISH 2023, South Asia's LGBTQ+ Film Festival, will take place physically at Liberty Cinema and Alliance Française de Bombay from June 7-11, 2023, and online from June 16-25, 2023.
The festival includes a variety of film screenings, panel discussions, and interactive sessions with filmmakers. The opening ceremony will be held on June 7, 2023, at Liberty Cinema, followed by the screening of the opening film, "PINE CONE," directed by Onir. The festival will showcase a diverse selection of 110 LGBTQ+ Films from 41 different countries.
Each day of the festival will feature multiple film programs, including short films, narrative shorts, documentaries, and feature films, from various countries. There will also be panel discussions on topics such as diversity and inclusion, LGBTQ rights, and creating LGBTQIA+ inclusive workplaces.
There are different passes available for the physical festival, including the Full-Festival Pass, Discounted Full-Festival Pass for students, senior citizens, and Alliance Française de Bombay members, Discounted Full-Festival Pass for Trans* persons, Weekend Pass, and Day Pass.
