Amazing Thailand Festival 2023 Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT)
The Amazing Thailand Festival 2023, organised by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) brought together travelers, trade partners, and city folks to experience the cultural diversity and captivating offerings of Thailand.
Held at Jio World Drive in Mumbai from 24 – 26 March 2023, the festival attracted over 7,000 attendees a day, adding to over 21,000 over the three days and introduced them to the 5 F’s of Thailand: Food, Film, Fashion, Fight, and Festival.
The festival also highlighted the country’s martial arts heritage and showcased the excitement of Muay Thai fighting.
The festival was inaugurated by dignitaries and officials including Tanes Petsuwan, Deputy Governor of International Marketing Asia & South Pacific at the Tourism Authority of Thailand; H.E. Mr. Donnawit Poolsawat, Consul-General of the Royal Thai Consulate-General Mumbai; Kanchana Patarachoke, Deputy Director-General, Department of International Organizations, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Thailand; Nithee Seeprae, Deputy Governor for Digitalisation, Research, and Development, TAT; Somradee Chitchong, Deputy Governor for Administration, TAT; and Isada Saovaros, Director of TAT- Mumbai Office, among others.
Isada Saovaros, Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (Mumbai) said, “We are immensely thrilled with the overwhelming success of the Amazing Thailand Festival 2023. The incredible turnout over the course of the three-day event served as a testament to the immense popularity of Thailand in India. The festival provided a remarkable platform for showcasing Thailand’s multifaceted cultural heritage and contemporary offerings to a diverse audience in Mumbai. The festival’s immersive experience also played a vital role in highlighting Thailand’s unique offerings and destinations, helping to emphasise their appeal to potential visitors."
The Amazing Thailand Festival 2023 was a demonstration of TAT Mumbai’s commitment to promoting Thailand as a premier travel destination by bringing the true ‘Thainess’ to the City of Dreams.
