Anita Praveen, secretary, MoFPI said, “The first edition of World Food India held in 2017 was a big success and the idea is to follow its footsteps to make the second edition bigger and better. Over 75,000 visitors from 60 countries attended the first edition with over 8,000 B2B/G2G meetings. The aim is two-fold - to make India an export hub for processed food, and at the same time make India self-reliant in the matter of packaging machinery and materials of food in the world.”
