Indian Hotels Company Simmering It Up

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), recently announced that its brand, Taj has been rated the World’s Strongest Hotel Brand and India’s Strongest Brand for the second consecutive time this year by Brand Finance. To celebrate, Taj launched an introductory edition of Simmering It Up at Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai, the first of a series of events that the brand will be hosting.

The event saw an interactive cook-out at the rooftop Middle Eastern restaurant - Souk between Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Indian Hotels Company; Anant Goenka, Executive Director, The Indian Express and Shereen Bhan, Managing Editor, CNBC TV18, moderated by Ambreen Khan.

The evening by celebratory sundowners and dinner, which included an elaborate selection of savories and sweets to choose from, such as Moroccan Ratatouille, Harira Lamb Chops, Rose Petal Ice Cream and many more, curated by Executive Chef Amit Choudhary.

Joining in the celebrations were the guests and patrons of the Taj who raised a toast. In attendance were Tasneem and Vikram Mehta, Ranjana Kamlani, Kozem Merchant and Lillete Dubey among others.
