Unilever Appoints Samir Singh as CMO - Personal Care

Samir Singh has been appointed as the Chief Marketing Officer at Unilever for the Personal Care division. He was earlier serving as the EVP of the company's Global Skin Cleansing and Oral Care division.
In his new role, Singh will lead marketing, strategy, innovation, communication and advertising.
Singh made the announcement through a post on LinkedIn.
“I’m happy to share that I have started a new position as Chief Marketing Officer, Personal Care at Unilever- for the categories of Skin Cleansing, Deodorants and Oral Care, and a portfolio of brands that includes Axe/Lynx, Closeup, Dove, Lifebuoy, Lux, Pepsodent, Rexona/Sure and others,” his post read.
Singh has over two decades of experience with Unilever where he has worked in different capacities.
Singh joined Unilever back in 1998, as an area sales manager. By 2006, he was handling the company's skincare division as the marketing director. He has a deep experience of working on purpose-led and sustainability-centred campaigns for Unilever. He has worked on brands like Dove, Lux, Lifebuoy, Pepsodent, Close Up etc.
In his new role, Samir Singh will lead marketing, strategy, innovation, communication and advertising.
