Toast Events Executes the 10 Year Celebration for AD 100

Toast Events managed and executed the AD100 event held on 5 March 2022 at the Grand Hyatt, Mumbai. It was the first time the who’s who of the industry and the entire Architecture fraternity met after two long years since the pandemic. It was the night AD announced the 100 firms from across India who have made it to the much-awaited annual list for 2022, and where all the other designers and architects who have been key to shaping AD’s journey over the last decade gathered to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the magazine. 

To match the gradiosity and stature of the celebration, TOAST events focused on elements that would celebrate 10 Years of Architectural Digest in India and added a design forward touch with a magnificent stage that brought to life geometry, concrete and art as a combination. A one-of-a-kind stage, this platform was the piece de resistance of the event – where all the action took place.

Vishal Prithyani, spearheading the project said, “The concept for the stage  was unique and a first for the brand. It was our endeavour to bring these abstract designs alive! Every element and experience designed for the brand was completely extraordinary and special.”

Tushar Solanki , Operations, TOAST Events, said, “The biggest challenge that we faced was erecting a complete abstract stage, enough for it to look as realistic as possible for our guests. But the finished product gave us immense satisfaction. We’re thrilled to have managed an event of such scale, where every detail was minutely looked into right from colours, to material.”

Abhijeet Sutar, Creatives, Toast Events said, “The task was to develop designs that would match the aesthetics and tonality of AD100 as a brand. I feel honoured to have designed a stage that was so different. Additionally as a designer, it was an absolute pleasure for me to go through the archives of the magazine and bring to life their top covers, their biggest content pieces through various installations at the event.” 

The AD100 list was meticulously researched and handpicked by the AD team and saw some renowned names including Hafeez Contractor, Gauri Khan, Pinakin Patel, Bijoy Jain, Sussanne Khan and more. Hosted by fashion designer Tarun Tahiliani and interior designer Vinita Chaitanya, the grand celebration witnessed the attendance of some of the most renowned mavens from the fields of interiors, architecture, culture, art, fashion, and design.
