What a splendid night as the wedding industry gathered to celebrate the success and glory of the Indian Wedding Business. EVENTFAQS Media in association with ET Panache applauded, saluted and celebrated the movers and shakers of the wedding industry at the launch of the ET Panache Wedding A-List magazine co-powered by The Leela.

The launch event was held on Saturday, 2nd April 2022 at the country's best city hotel, The Leela Palace, New Delhi.  A first-of-its-kind initiative by EVENTFAQS Media showcased the primary stakeholders of the $50 billion big fat Indian Wedding sector. The ET Panache Wedding A-list featured those who have met stringent editorial requirements and proved their mettle.

The event commenced with a welcome note by the beacon of hope of India’s experiential industry Deepak Choudhary, Founder and Director, EVENTFAQS Media and Event Capital. Further, Sridhar Nair, Vice President of Operations, Leela Palaces and Hotel welcomed the guests and revealed how Leela continues on its next new phase of growth and development.

Post this spectacular beginning, Sabbas Joseph, the leading voice in India’s media sector, Member National Advisory Council, EEMA and Member of the Entertainment Committees of CII and FICCI in his keynote spoke about the trial and the triumph of the Indian Wedding Sector and launched 'WedFAQS' an instagram focused news and content channel for the latest trends and happenings in the wedding and celebration space. Later, Executive Vice President of EEMA, Samit Garg marked the occasion by addressing the guests at the event on behalf of EEMA.

The discussions and deliberations pertaining to the wedding industry continued with the best professionals and leaders from the world of Indian hospitality. A panel discussion on ‘all about knowing Leela’ was held with speakers including: Anupam Dasgupta, General Manager The Leela Palace New Delhi; Varun Chhibber, General Manager, The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel, Delhi; Nishant Agarwal, General Manager, The Leela Palace Udaipur; Chandrashekhar Joshi, General Manager, The Leela Palace Jaipur; Madhav Sehgal, General Manager, The Leela Palace Bangalore; K M Chengappa, General Manager, The Leela Palace Chennai; Ruben Kataria, General Manager, The Leela Bhartiya City Bengaluru; Satish Kumar, General Manager, The Leela Goa; Jaideep Anand, General Manager, The Leela Gandhinagar; Anil George, General Manager, The Leela Kovalam.

Finally, it was time to launch the ET Panache Wedding A-list Magazine which was unveiled with a mesmerizing fusion act by the Nautanki Company. The act showcased the creators of experiences that affects the five senses of weddings and introduced the 51 A-listers of the wedding industry. The highlight of the event was when 51 A-listers came together on the stage as we celebrated the very best from the world of Indian weddings.

Vistara conducted a lucky draw where two winners from the A-listers received a complimentary couple return ticket in Premium Economy Class on the Delhi-Paris-Delhi network and a complimentary couple return ticket in Premium Economy Cabin on any Domestic network. 

The Leela created a special menu featuring 11 unique cuisines from the hotel's various chains. Rahul Jain, CEO, EVENTFAQS Media announced the 13th Edition of WOW Awards that will honor the best, yet again across 125 categories and Deepak Choudhary rendered the Vote of thanks.

The night concluded on a high note with industry grooving on the beats of Shor Police and DJ Sumit.
