IITM Hyderabad Draws Over 4K Visitors Across Three Days

Following similar events in Chennai and Bengaluru, Sphere Travelmedia and Exhibitions organised a ‘tourism revival edition’ of India International Travel Mart at Hitex Convention Hall, Hyderabad from 3 to 5 December 2021. More than 20 Indian states participated in the expo.
The event supported by India Tourism showcased segments such as pilgrimage travel, adventure, cultural pursuits and shopping tours.
The three-day event was inaugurated by Minister for Tourism, Culture and Archaeology, Government of Telangana, V Srinivas Goud. Interacting with participating state representatives, Goud announced that a special desk will be opened in the office of Telangana’s Directorate of Tourism, for assisting stakeholders in smooth interchange of best practices.
Uppala Srinivas Gupta, Chairman, Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation (TSTDC), also held discussions with other state tourism officials and shared recent developments in the sector.
Sanjay Hakhu, Director, Sphere Travel Media, said, "As we recover from the pandemic to get back into business mode, India has emerged as one of the most interesting and productive countries for the travel industry, both for leisure and business travel. A combination of factors is responsible for the growth and demand of travel within the country."
The Hyderabad edition drew more than 4,000 travel organisations, hotels and resorts.
