Organisers of the annual Windmill Festival for kids, Laqshya Event Capital and Tribe Asia, have announced the launch of Windmill Live – a live online destination for kids that will be open through the year.
WilndmillFest.live is billed as a place where one can discover things to do with kids every day through list-based recommendations curated to meet the needs of children, across activities, education, travel, food, shopping and more. The platform promises to help kids to learn, explore and connect.
Shyam Chhabria, CEO, Laqshya Event Capital, said, “At Windmill our endeavour has been to create an enthralling and captivating experience for kids. A platform which offers families an opportunity to spend time with their kids in a highly immersive environment.”
“Windmill Live is our endeavour to extend the Windmill experience to a global audience. A platform tailor-made for kids to learn, explore and connect with everything that excites them and gives them a chance to get immersed into a virtual environment custom made for them. The objective is to curate and push out content across categories which will have appeal to kids across the 0-14 age group. We also intend to create a global community which can interact with each other on this platform and help parents share experiences across this global community,” he added.
In 2020, the fifth edition of the Windmill Festival was hosted virtually because of the Covid19 pandemic. The annual festival will continue alongside the new destination at Windmill Live.
