The Event and Entertainment Management Association (EEMA) is all set to host a webinar on Health, Safety and Sustainability on 29 July 2021 from 3pm. The virtual event will be streamed on Zoom.
The free-to-attend webinar will focus on how the pandemic has added a new dimension to health, safety and sustainability in managing the experiential business and ensuring the viability of businesses.
Roshan Abbas, President, EEMA, said, "Times today have given health, safety and sustainability in managing the experiential business a new dimension altogether. We need to adapt and evolve to secure the future of our businesses. Health is of core importance as we need to be healthy for ourselves and our businesses to run efficiently. Safety on the other hand involves the people who work in our events. And going forward, we need to be thinking of a sustainable future for the environment in order to deliver an impactful outcome and which will help us carve a way out for our future generation. Therefore, EEMA has taken an initiative to highlight these three strong pillars of event management in the ‘New Normal’."
Siddhartha Chaturvedi, General Secretary, EEMA, said, "SafeEvents2SaveEvents, was the first war cry we gave, the time we came to office and the SOPs released by us have helped every experiential agency in the country to conduct safe events during these hopeless pandemic times. Going forward, we need to completely change the way we look at doing events and it is an opportune time for us to reboot the mindset and focus on these three pillars when we go and conduct our events. Our HSS Committee has done a fabulous job in putting together a great webinar with a stellar line up of speakers and changemakers."
The proceedings have been bucketed into the three themes of health, safety and sustainability.
The keynote in the health segment will be by Shayamal Vallabhjee, Sports Scientist and Psychologist. A panel discussion on ‘Healthy people make a healthy business’ will feature Vallabhjee; Mahek Jain, Executive Director, Nirmal Lifestyle; Neha Kirpal, Co-Founder, InnerHour Mental Health; besides EEMA’s Health, Safety and Sustainability (HSS) Committee members Ankur Kalra, Pramod Lunawat and Amit Gupta, who will be the moderator.
