As restaurants, pubs, and bars around the country are slowly reopening post lockdown, dining out and restaurant tech platform Dineout has announced a digital campaign #UnlockWithDineout to welcome diners for safe dining experiences.
The brand has also launched a video urging diners that 15,000 restaurants across India are now open with all the safety measures.
Ankit Mehrotra, Co-Founder and CEO, Dineout, said, “Most food-lovers across the country have been sitting on the fence for weeks (if not months) about going back to their favorite restaurants in town. With the COVID-19 health advisory, it's understandable why millions of Indians are impatiently waiting for the day they can finally step out, and into their favorite restaurants, instead of eating it on their couch. With leading restaurants across the country beginning to open their doors past delivery & takeout, our #UnlockWithDineout campaign is aimed at reminding millions of Indian foodies of what they have missed out on. We are confident the ‘see it to believe it’ sanitization and hygiene-related measures such as fully vaccinated staff and socially distanced seating will reassure diners that we are prepared to take on this ‘new normal’ as they enjoy incredible dining out experiences.”
Dineout partner restaurants are promising ‘Clinical Hygiene Powered By Equinox Labs’. This entails a food hygiene rating powered by a FSSAI notified and NABL-accredited food safety and hygiene audit firm, calculated based on official FSSAI guidelines. Dineout users would be able to see these ratings on the app.
The app will also allow users to have a contactless dining experience at partner restaurants with fully vaccinated staff.
