T.E.A.M. and Infiniti Mall Vaccinate Mumbai’s Unorganised Essential Workers

Student-led emergency relief group Together Everyone Achieves More (T.E.A.M.) and Infiniti Mall have come together to raise awareness and funds to provide free vaccination to those from the micro community – like vegetable sellers, milkmen, florists, newspaper vendors, barbers and egg vendors.
Funds raised will be used for procuring vaccines and making travel arrangements for the beneficiaries. All over 18 can avail the Covishield vaccine on 10 June 2021 between 10 am and 3 pm at the Sheila Gopal Raheja Auditorium in Bandra, Mumbai. People would be required to carry their Aadhar Cards.
T.E.A.M. has also launched a campaign to debunk myths to eliminate vaccine hesitancy. The campaign has been created for the local communities in more than 10 native languages.
Founder Members of T.E.A.M. said they were trying to put together resources to provide vaccination to all people, despite there being a shortage.
Mukesh Kumar, CEO, Infiniti Mall, said, “In times like these, it is very critical to collectively work towards the welfare of the society and stand by the people of our community. It is extremely important that people from all walks of life get their vaccination on time to shield themselves. We are glad to associate with T.E.A.M. to take this initiative ahead and contribute towards society.”
Through social media fund-raising campaigns and outreach initiatives, T.E.A.M. has raised over Rs 1.5 cr and helped over 45,000 people.
