Paytm Insider's Fundraising Week Draws Over 10,000, Raises 50 Lakh Rupees

The Fundraising Week organized by Paytm Insider which culminated on 30 May 2021, raised over Rs.50 lakh rupees.
The week saw over 90 events featuring over 75 artistes adding up to 112 hours of content, across genres like theatre, film, comedy and dance, streamed on Paytm Insider.
Through the week, artistes contributed their time and talent to help raise funds for organisations working for Covid19 relief, while over 10,000 viewers contributed to the donation purse.
The amount raised has been distributed to over 20 organisations including Hemkunt Foundation, Khaana Chahiye, SEWA for Artists, Feeding From Far, Friendicoes and Khalsa Aid.
Among creators and organisations who engaged the audience were Kala Ghoda, Satyanshu Singh, M.A.C Cosmetics, Tanmay Bhat, Zakir Khan, Kanan Gill, Biswa Kalyan Rath, Varun Thakur, Euphoria, Raghu Dixit, Ankur Tewari, Prajakta Koli, Shriya Pilgaonkar and Terrance Lewis Academy.
Shreyas Srinivasan, CEO, Paytm Insider, said, “The pandemic has been tough on millions of people and it’s only human to feel the need to extend help in any way possible.
