Nominees of Mettle: Sonam C Chhabra

The inaugural edition of EVENTFAQS Mettle Awards was announced in early 2021 to honour exemplary achievements by those in events and experiential marketing in 2020, the first year of the Covid19-induced lockdown.

Sonam C Chhabra has been nominated in the category of Mettle - Performer.

Cchhabra used her skills and reach in the lockdown to create platforms to discuss issues of the young, train hosts to monetise on social media, conduct mental health workshops with fellow hosts, and work with DCW for campaigns against online harassment and cyberbullying. Closer home, she was feeding and caring for strays, while hosting intimate weddings and virtual events with Bollywood A-Listers.

The Mettle Awards ceremony, which was repeatedly postponed due to the pandemic, stands cancelled and organisers have decided to refrain from announcing winners, deeming such a celebration inappropriate in the current times.

Shortlisted nominees will be announced on www.Eventfaqs.com.

The host has been nominated in the category of Performer at the inaugural Mettle Awards to honour the event industry’s lockdown heroes.
