Deepak Saini, Founder & MD, GNH Group, is no more. He was battling Covid19 at a private hospital in Gurugram where he breathed his last on 11 May 2021.
Saini established hospitality company Grand Notting Hills (GNH) in 2001, which runs The Nikunj in Delhi and A-Dot in Gurgaon, among the largest venues for grand weddings and luxury events in the national capital region.
Industry players expressed their condolences and paid their tributes to Saini, who is survived by his wife, who is also being treated for Covid19, and their son and daughter.

"Deepak Saini was a stalwart of the industry. His journey had been an inspiration. He rose from a florist to an entrepreneur creating one-of-its-kind of banquet. Really saddened and shocked to lose such a humble person. May god give him peace.”
– Ashish Boobna, Director FnP Weddings

"It’s with great sadness that we learn of the departing of our friend and colleague, Deepak. He celebrated life in all its glory. May his soul rest in peace. May his family find comfort in our support.”
– Rituraj Khanna, CEO Q. Events

"Mr. Deepak Saini was a strong pillar that kept everybody in the industry together. He considered our dreams as his own and would always contribute in fulfilling them. A visionary, a risk-taker, a path-breaker and a go-getter, he’s been an inspiration to many. From being a florist to running venues like A Dot, he has done it all. His growth has been tremendous. Over the years he’s provided employment to hundreds of people and now this chapter has been closed with him. We’ll all miss him and his absence will be greatly felt."
