Mobile Premier League (MPL) Gamers for India Fundraiser

Many in India are joining hands to fight the ongoing Covid19 pandemic, each in their own way.

Mobile Premier League (MPL), which bills itself as an e-sports and skill gaming platform, has joined hands with Give India to organise ‘Gamers for India Fundraiser’ for Covid relief.

India’s gaming community will come together as part of the initiative on 15 May 2021 at 7 pm on MPL’s Facebook and YouTube handles to game, talk and raise funds.

The live stream will witness popular gamers including Kronten, Mortal, Scout, Regaltos and 8Bit participating.

Give India is an online donation platform that launched an India Covid Response Fund - 1 last year, which generated over Rs.220 crore. It has now launched a second leg of the fund in response to the second wave of the Covid19 pandemic. Through the second fund, Give India will donate to healthcare NGOs, fill critical gaps in healthcare including oxygen supply and equipment, and also provide meals and ration kits to struggling communities.

The initiative will be hosted on 15 May 2021 at 7 pm with gamers and game streamers joining on MPL’s Facebook and YouTube handles to game, talk and raise funds.
