After completing a decade of operations in India, Travel and Hospitality Representation Services (THRS) has announced its expansion to the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) region.
The GCC operations will be managed by Mithu Agarwal who has joined THRS with more than 20 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry.
For the GCC market, THRS currently represents Resplendent Ceylon, a trail of luxury resorts in Sri Lanka and Relais & Chateâux, a French hospitality and cuisine brand. These brands have been part of THRS’ India portfolio for five and 10 years respectively.
Yeishan Goel, CEO, THRS, said, “We have held a deep interest in the GCC for the last three to four years and it is exciting to see our plans come to fruition. The Middle East is a service-heavy market and yet diverse in terms of traveller preferences and travel trends. The tourists from this region are some of the highest spending travellers in the world. We believe there is a huge demand for luxury-seeking travellers from the GCC that is yet to be tapped. With Mithu leading from the front, we are ramping up our operations and prospecting for this market.”
Following safety protocols, THRS will be organising interactive events in the coming months to showcase the portfolio and also connect with trade partners based in different source markets in the GCC.
