Whiz League, a learning and career-launching platform that enables students to learn from experts from different fields and potentially collaborate with them, was launched on 13 April 2021.
Brainchild of Natasha Jain and Sonia A Bajaj, the platform currently offers courses helmed by experts in restaurants (Priyank Sukhija), music (Guru Randhawa), food (Ranveer Brar) and films (Mukesh Chhabra). A travel blogging expert and one from the fashion industry are expected to launch courses shortly.
Bajaj, Co-founder of Whiz League, said, “We had noticed a gap between the skill set and knowledge base between aspiring professionals and established industry experts and wanted to create a platform that provided affordable access to priceless insights from such industry experts.”
“In addition to just being a learning platform, we wanted to give people an opportunity to boost their career by presenting them with a golden opportunity to collaborate with experts via Whiz Launchpad,” added Jain, the other Co-founder.
Following its tagline ‘A Genius Way of Learning’, the concept of the platform is to focus on making practical learning about an industry and its workings more accessible to all.
The platform is currently offering a package of the seven-video course and access to ‘Launchpad’ at an inaugural price of Rs.799, as against Rs.1599 listed on the site.
In the case of Mukesh Chhabra, students will get to learn about Bollywood auditioning and casting through the videos and get a shot at an acting career through Launchpad. The top four students of the course will get to audition with his company. Similarly, one ‘top’ applicant for the course and Launchpad package will get mentored by Randhawa.
In addition to offering students inputs via pre-recorded videos as domain expert, singer-composer Guru Randhawa will be strategic partner at the company launched by Natasha Jain and Sonia Bajaj.
