The Esports Club Concludes Valorant Gaming Event, Final Attracts 11,500 Concurrent Viewers

The Esports Club Valorant Gaming Event
Bengaluru-based The Esports Club (TEC) announced the conclusion of LG Ultragear TEC Invitational with HyperX, a Valorante gaming event whose final was hosted on 4 April 2021.
Valorant is a free-to-play hero shooter game developed and published by Riot Games, the Tencent-owned developers behind titles like League of Legends and Legends of Runterra.
The esports startup had hosted three Valorant gaming events in India, one each in January, February and March. Each leg saw eight teams competing for Rs 3,00,000 in prize money.
According to organisers, the latest event broke its previous records with the final witnessing over 11,500 concurrent viewers.
Ishaan Arya, Co-founder, TEC, said, “The TEC Invitational is just the first step in what we have planned for 2021 and we will be announcing some game-changing campaigns for Valorant in the next few weeks.”
Mansoor Nabu Ahmed, the organisation’s Director, added that the response proved the popularity of Valorant Esports in India.
