Gravity Concepts Jungheinrich Jungheinrich Virtual Annual Conference 2021
German Material Handling and Intralogistics Solutions company Jungheinrich hosted its annual conference virtually for the first time in 2021. Gravity Concepts curated the event hosted on February 13, 2021, with Jungheinrich employees and their families from across the globe, including India, South Asia and Germany, in attendance.
Content was created in the form of a venue walkthrough video showcasing the company’s lift trucks and their features using AR and VFX. A team of professionals worked for 10 days to curate the experience with CGI content of over two hours and integration of the chroma shoot footage.
The event hosted by Jay Karmani saw physical trophies being sent to winners’ houses and animated GIFs used for the online felicitation. To spur audience interaction, Tambola was played with specially customised tickets with Bollywood activities allocated to various numbers.
Food hampers from sources including Marriott, Dominos and local fine dine restaurants were delivered to every household for dinner.
Manojit Acharya, MD, Junghienrich India, said, “This year’s annual conference was a special one as we were hosting it virtually for the first time but our internal team and our event partners ensured we had a seamless and memorable experience. We explored a new way of interacting with the audience by using technology-driven presentations, rewarding them virtually for their contribution in the difficult times and entertaining them to the core.”
"Our aim was not to execute this event just like any other virtual event, it was mainly to make the client comfortable and accommodate their expectations flawlessly as it was their first step in the whole new virtual world,” said Krishna Iyer, Associate Director - Sales & Marketing, Gravity Concepts.
The event witnessed the materials handling company’s employees and their families from across the globe, including India, South Asia and Germany, in attendance.
