Hungama Artist Aloud Partners Concern India for ‘Roshni’ Music and Talent Show for Differently Abled

Roshni Hungama Artist Aloud Concern India Foundation

Hungama Artist Aloud, a platform that supports and promotes independent content, has partnered with Concern India Foundation’s annual beneficiary event ‘Roshni’, a music and talent show for the differently abled.

The event will showcase the artistic abilities of differently-abled children from various special schools across Mumbai. The event will be hosted on the YouTube channels of Hungama Artist Aloud and Concern India Foundation and will be available to stream on 20  March 2021 from 7 pm.

The event will see 80 children from eight different schools participating. The schools are AAISHA, A K Munshi, Jai Vakeel, Lions Juhu, Punarvas, SPJ Sadhana, Sashi Mangalyam and Save the Children.

Furtado’s School of Music has been supporting this event two years in a row with prizes that will promote the musical development of all the participants. Devraj Sanyal, India and South Asia Managing Director and CEO of Universal Music and EMI Music, has been part of this journey for the second year now.

Soumini Sridhara Paul, Senior Vice President, Hungama Artist Aloud, said, “There is immense talent in the country and it is important for us to provide a platform to everyone to showcase their talent. All participants in Roshni are extremely gifted and their passion for their craft is infectious. We are thrilled to work with Concern India Foundation on a concept as novel as this and are certain that the viewers will appreciate the talent of these children as well.”

Manisha Desai, Director at Concern India Foundation, said, “It’s always so gratifying to see the enthusiasm and smiles on these beautiful children and students.  Despite the pandemic and change in the nature of the event, we are so happy to have so many participants.  We are also very grateful to our judges and supporters who have helped us put this version of Roshni together!”

The show will be hosted on the YouTube channels of Hungama Artist Aloud and Concern India Foundation and will be available to stream on 20 March 2021 from 7 pm.
