One Page Spotlight Spotlight Literature Festival
One Page Spotlight, a professional social media networking platform, is all set to hold the first edition of its Spotlight Literature Festival from March 12-14, 2021. Themed ‘Breaking the regional barriers’, the literary congregation intends to assemble a conference of seasoned as well as promising emergent writers, thinkers, musicians, publishers, film-makers, and artistes from across the country who have been diligently doing their work without much expectations.
The virtual fest aims to empower a number of voices in regional spaces and beyond by instituting a digital commune that is dedicated to creating opportunities that exhibit novel artistic cultural revolutions in the digital medium.
It will consist of over 12 distinctive genres and will feature about 70 writers arriving from varied countries across the world. The festival will witness the participation of writers such as Amandeep Sandhu, Preethi Nagaraj, Kala Ramesh, Chandramohan S., Nabina Das, Raghavendra MK and Danish Husain. The festival will assist in unveiling different regional voices of the present times by celebrating pieces of writing that can create a veritable impact in society.
One Page Spotlight is creating a business strategy with the target of reaching over a million viewers. The event will not only attract substantial virtual footfalls but also create resonance in the long-term.
Shilpa Ramesh Ramani, Co-founder, and spokesperson for One Page Spotlight, said, “We are thrilled to announce that our company will soon be orchestrating a virtual literature festival. This much-anticipated event will bring various prominent voices that often get obscured in the mainstream noise to the limelight and establish a terrific opportunity to blend inexperienced voices with the fresh ones so that together they become the voice of our time. We are wholeheartedly committed to breaking regional barriers around the written word and further hope to pave the path for a novel discursive dialogue in literature and arts. A thoughtful discussion can boost the morale of creative minds, thereby enabling them to chase the dream of writing and pursue it to the next level.”
The social media platform will also organize contests for poetry and short story genres during the fest for which the winners will receive cash prizes and certificates.
The festival intends to bring forth independent writers, publishers, thinkers, musicians and artistes to create a digital commune that transcends geographic limitations.
