Fifth Edition of Filmfare Awards Marathi to be Simulcast on March 14

Filmfare announced the fifth edition of Filmfare Awards Marathi 2020 through a virtual press conference.

To recognize the rise of Marathi entertainment and honour the cinematic brilliance of the industry, Filmfare Awards Marathi 2020 will be telecasted on Colors Marathi on March 14, 2021 at 7 PM and also simulcasted on Filmfare’s Facebook page.

The event will be presented by Planet Marathi, while Facebook is the Global Digital Partner and Colors Marathi is Exclusive Telecast Partner.

Sameer Vidwan-directed, period drama Anandi Gopal starring Lalit Prabhakar and Bhagyashree Milind has bagged 16 nominations across categories.

Amey Wagh and Sai Tamhankar-starrer Girlfriend has 15 nominations.

Amey Wagh, Ankush Chaudhari, Bhalchandra Kadam, Deepak Dobriyal, Lalit Prabhakar, Pranav Raorane have been nominated in the Best Actor – Male category.

Bhagyashree Milind, Mrunmayee Deshpande, Mukta Barve, Nandita Patkar, Sayali Sanjeev, Sonalee Kulkarni are nominated for Best Actor – Female.
