To mark the commencement of year-long 125th birth anniversary celebrations of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose from January 23, leading short format video app Mitron has unveiled a campaign titled #Netaji125 to showcase videos paying tribute to one of the foremost and prominent freedom-fighters in India's Independence movement. For this campaign, Mitron has partnered with INA Trust, which was founded to perpetuate the memory of Subhash Chandra Bose by sharing his ideology and philosophy with the youth of India.
Mitron users and well-known personalities have already started creating videos around Netaji’s life events and theories by using #Netaji125 along with the ‘Kadam Kadam Badhaye Ja’ song from their playlist. For the campaign, videos can also be made using creative ideas on the relevance of Netaji’s ideologies in today’s society - what if Netaji was alive today (hypothetical scenarios), Netaji’s life facts, the truth about his death conspiracy, did he actually survive the plane crash and more.
Shivank Agarwal, CEO and Co-founder, Mitron said, “As we begin the celebration for Netaji’s 125th birth anniversary in 2022, Mitron reinforces his bravery and love for India through the #Netaji125 campaign. We are honoured to partner with the INA Trust and run this campaign to pay our respects to one of the greatest freedom fighters ever. This is also a wonderful opportunity to have India’s youth pay homage to Netaji with their take on various aspects of his life. Seeing the tremendous reactions from users has further validated our movement to raise awareness about Netaji’s life journey.”
“We endeavour to take Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s vision across the country and to showcase his vast contribution towards securing the Independence of India. His 125th birth anniversary is a momentous occasion that allows us to manifest his legacy to one and all and keep his memory alive. We are pleased to be associated with Mitron for this campaign that shares our ethos. Mitron is a perfect match for us to reach and engage with today’s youth across the nation through a medium of their preference,” Brig (Retd) RS Chhikara, Chairman of Netaji Subhash Bose-INA Trust, added.
The ongoing campaign that was initiated on January 10 will conclude on January 26, Republic Day 2021.
